Taylor Swift wants to work with Kanye West

Taylor Swift has praised Kanye West for his "amazing ideas" and admits she’s very interested in collaborating with him.

The ‘Style’ hitmaker has confirmed she spoke with the ‘All Day’ rapper about music although they haven’t entered the studio yet, but she wants them to record together.

When asked what she thought his suggestion they should work together, she responded: "He has said that."

In an interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Taylor added: "We’ve never been in a studio together, but he’s got a lot of amazing ideas.

"He’s one of those people that’s just like idea, idea, idea. Like, ‘What do you think of this? What do you think of that?’

"He’s very creative and like, I think we’ve talked about it but we’ve also talked about so many other things. I think I completely respect his vision as a producer. So, that’s all I know now. I have no idea what the next album’s gonna be, though."

The two musicians have a chequered history with Kanye famously interrupting her acceptance speech for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to insist Beyonce should have won the accolade. However, the pair have since patched up their differences.

Although Taylor wants Kanye on board with her next studio LP in some capacity, the ‘Shake It Off’ singer insists she won’t be going into the studio any time soon, as she is set to embark on her ‘1989 World Tour’.

She said: "I’m not making the next record yet, that’s going to take a lot of thinking about what that should be. With ‘1989’, I love this album so much that I think it’d be doing a real disservice to try and copy it the next time around."

She added: "I think it’s going to have to be something very different, creatively."

The ‘1989 World Tour’ starts on Tuesday May 5 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
