Tanya Bardsley recovering after breaking back on Celebs On A Ranch

Tanya Bardsley is finally recovering after breaking her back in three places when she appeared on ‘Celebs On A Ranch’.
The ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ star attended Grand National Ladies Day on Friday (05.04.19) with a very appropriate accessory for the day, her own horse, but she admitted that the last time she was near one of the animals things didn’t go so smoothly as the horse "bucked her off" leaving her seriously injured.
After four months, the 37-year-old reality star is finally healing – despite doctors telling her it would take a year to get back to normal – and the former glamour model admitted that the "awful" injury meant she was unable to move properly for two months.
In an exclusive interview with BANG Showbiz, Tanya said: "I don’t have a good track record with horses. I did ‘Celebs On A Ranch’ and broke my back in three places from a horse – so I won’t be getting on this one!
"The horse bucked me off but I’m healed now, I’m freshly healed so I won’t be getting on the horse he’ll just be walking beside me. It’s been four months and I’m OK now, but they said the recovery could be, like, 12 months. I just couldn’t really move for two months it was awful – but there was no school run so that was a bonus!"
Despite her fall, Tanya still admits shooting the 5Star show – which sees a group of celebs learn how to become cowboys on an Arizona ranch – was an "amazing experience" but she wouldn’t want to swap her life in Cheshire for America permanently.
She said: "It was amazing it was a once in a lifetime experience went to Arizona I’ve never experienced before we got there and we were like putting our phones in the sky trying to get Wi-Fi and it smelt of horse s**t. But it was just amazing to experience it – I would not like to live like that all the time but yeah it was an amazing experience. "
Tanya was speaking at Grand National Ladies Day with the ultimate equine accessory, a real-life mare inspired by Tiger Roll, this year’s red hot favourite to win the Grand National with William Hill.
