Tamara Ecclestone’s daughter wants a "real unicorn" for Christmas.
The 33-year-old star is known for showering her and her husband Jay Rutland’s three-year-old youngster Sophia with gifts, and while she is finding it impossible to purchase the toddler’s ideal present this year, because it doesn’t exist, the model has thought of a way round the issue.
She said: "It’s a bit of a tricky one because she’s asking for a real unicorn. I’m not sure what to do.
"A friend told me about a book where it says that unicorns can’t be captured, so I think I’ll have to buy it and read it to her."
While Tamara – the daughter of Formula 1 tycoon Bernie Ecclestone – and Jay are not short of cash, she admitted they aren’t planning to spoil each other with gifts over the festive period, and she much prefers presents with a personal touch.
She added to HELLO! magazine: "Jay and I have decided not to go nuts with stuff for ourselves. Although Jay is so thoughtful and sweet and he always gets things that are personalised or mean something. The
"most romantic thing he’s ever given me was last Christmas – he made me a DVD of when I was pregnant, when Fifi was born and the first few years of her life with music and stuff, and he edited it all together with footage from our camcorder.
"Gifts like that are way nicer to me than, say, a handbag."
Had Sophia wanted a mountain as her Christmas present she may have been in luck because her billionaire grandfather Bernie owns one in Switzerland.
Tamara recently said: "Glacier 3000 is my dad’s mountain, he liked the mountain so he bought it, taking Sofia for the first time is so special."
Jay quipped: "You can see where she gets it from."
