Tamar Braxton’s marriage crumbled after The Real firing

Tamar Braxton’s marriage reportedly crumbled after she was fired from ‘The Real’.
The ‘Love and War’ singer announced earlier this week that she and her husband Vince Herbert – who have been married for nearly nine years – have decided to go their separate ways, but it’s believed their relationship actually broke down after the blonde beauty plunged into depression when she left the chat show last year.
A source told TMZ.com: "Her marriage to hubby Vince suffered an irreparable fracture after going through a time of depression stemming from her firing in May."
The news that the pair had decided to call time on their relationship came as a shock to fans as they were spotted putting on a united front in New York City last month.
But friends have claimed that the 40-year-old singer – who has four-year-old son Logan with the hunk – moved out of the couple’s home three months ago.
It’s not yet known whether Logan is living with Tamar or Vince but the estranged pair have agreed that the welfare of their son is the most important factor.
Her representative said in a statement: "At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert. Collectively, their son Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers."
Their split comes after Tamar admitted it was "really hard" working so close with her 44-year-old husband, who is also the manager of her music career, and contemplated leaving her recording career behind to save her relationship.
She said previously: "There’s a lot of things that are going on in my relationship and me being close to this music industry, and whatever I can do to eliminate all of the stress and problems off of my relationship, I would rather do that.
"My husband and I work very close together and it’s really hard, you know? Not only do we work together, he is my baby daddy and, you know, we’ve been together forever. He’s my best friend. It’s a lot of things to discuss and argue about."
