‘Celebrity Big Brother’ has lost one contestant for 2017 after Suzy Cortez pulls out due to "work contracts".
The 26-year-old Brazilian model – who is the current holder of Brazil’s Miss BumBum title – was due to appear on the celebrity version of the popular reality television show, but has been forced to pull out ahead of the show’s start date in January as she has other commitments she cannot get out of.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the brunette beauty said: "I was offered the place back in November but I’ve had to pull out because I can’t get out of some other work contracts, which I had hoped to be able to break.
"I hope they will let me do next year instead."
It comes after Suzy previously admitted she wasn’t sure if she would be able to honour her place in the ‘Big Brother’ house because of her commitments in Hong Kong and Australia.
She said in November: "I was invited by Channel 5 to join Celebrity Big Brother.
"I still don’t know if I’m going to enter the reality show as I’ve signed contracts to work in Hong Kong and Australia at the beginning of 2017."
Suzy would have been going into the house as part of the upcoming ‘All Stars vs New Stars’ series, which will see past contestants battle it out against new blood.
Meanwhile, model Austin Armacost is excited to be returning to the famous house and is only disappointed his friend James Hill – who won the show when they competed in summer 2015 – won’t be taking part too.
A source told The Sun: "Austin can’t wait to enter the ‘Big Brother’ house again.
"He really enjoyed his time in there and is looking forward to the new challenge.
"He’s just gutted that James Hill won’t be joining him."
