Suicide Squad virgin Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne had never heard of ‘Suicide Squad’ before she was cast in the film.
The supermodel-and-actress wasn’t a comic book fan as a kid, but after playing Dr. June Moone opposite Will Smith’s Deadshot, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc she is encouraging children to seek out the DC Comics publication.
Cara, 23, said: "I think I’d never even heard of ‘Suicide Squad’. It wasn’t until I’d read the comics and spoken to the director David Ayer.
"I wasn’t into comics as a kid – I was into superheroes and dressing up – but I think it’s a really lost thing, and I hope kids go back and check out the comics. They’re really cool."
Cara’s character Dr. June Moone is an archaeologist who gets possessed by an ancient evil force turning her into the evil Enchantress in the film.
The catwalk superstar used an interesting jumping off point to portray the change in her alter ego.
She explained: "I think it was just about finding that demon inside myself and exercising it on screen and really understanding what June was going through by feeling really out of control. David was like, ‘If you’ve ever blacked out drunk and when you were asleep you’ve gone and killed a bunch of people and tried to take over the world. That’s what it’s like.’
"It was just about understanding how lost and out of control she would feel in the world. When she’s been someone that’s been in control most of her life."
