Karim Zeroual named his "ballroom frame" after ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Anton du Beke.
The TV presenter – who wowed the audience and judges with his cha-cha-cha alongside pro partner Amy Dowden last weekend – has been working on his "posture" with the support device, and he gave a cheeky nod to Anton with its moniker.
Taking over the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column, he said: "[Anton du Beke is] what I call my ‘ballroom frame’.
"Amy got it. I slouch a lot at work. This helps with my posture and keeps my arms up for ballroom. I even wear it to bed."
CBBC star Karim also opened up on how his health regime has changed, and he admitted Amy had to switch his diet up to keep him in the best possible shape.
He explained: "I might look trim but my diet’s changed. I love a lunchtime burger but Amy found a full tummy makes me sleepy. So that’s gone."
And the children’s TV favourite gave a nod to a beloved co-star as he joked about this weekend’s routine, which will be set to Frank Sinatra’s ‘The Way You Look Tonight’.
He quipped: "[My next dance is] a foxtrot. What’s that? Is it to do with Basil Brush? It’s going to be stylish with finesse – quite technical. No games or gimmicks. I’m panicking."
Karim will be hoping his performance on Saturday (28.09.19) can build on a good start to his ‘Strictly’ journey last weekend when he and Amy scored an impressive 31 points out of a possible 40.
The great opening result put them second on the leader board – behind ‘Emmerdale’ actor Kelvin Fletcher and his pro partner Oti Mabuse – while judge Bruno Tonioli described them as "a tour de force" on the BBC Latin and ballroom show.
