The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ finalists will be dancing three different routines on Saturday night (16.12.17).
The finale of the BBC One ballroom competition has had a slight shake-up this year, which will see all four competitors and their professional dance partners – Alexandra Burke and Gorka Marquez, Joe McFadden and Katya Jones, Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice, as well as Gemma Atkinson and Aljaž Škorjanec – perform the judges’ favourite dance from the entire series, as well as a showdance, and their own favourite number from the fifteenth season, although the latter will only be unveiled on the night of the finale.
Debbie, 59, will be wowing crowds with a showdance to the Vaults’ ‘One Day I’ll Fly Away’.
And the critiquing panel, which consists of Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas, have requested for the television personality to carry out the same routine she took to the dancefloor with in week eight, which was a salsa to ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’.
Alexandra, 29, will go back to her week three performance and perform the American Smooth to ‘Wouldn’t It Be Lovely’.
And the ‘X Factor’ champion’s showdance will be to ‘There’s No Business like Showbusiness’.
Joe, 42, will also perform his routine from the third week, which will be a Viennese Waltz to ‘Somewhere My Love’, as well as a routine to Hall & Oates’ ‘You Make My Dreams’.
And Gemma will be entertaining viewers with a Paso Doble to Coldplay’s ‘Viva La Vida’, which she wowed viewers with in week four.
The 33-year-old actress dance for the final time to Christina Aguilera’s ‘Show Me How You Burlesque’.
And during the evening, which will see the foursome dance for a total of two and a half hours, Ed Sheeran will take to the stage as the final’s guest music act, before the champion lifts the highly coveted glitter ball trophy.
‘Strictly Come Dancing 2017 Final’ will air on BBC One at 6.30pm on Saturday (16.12.17).
