Stormzy admitted he was a "little bit drunk" when he accepted his Solo Artist of the Year award at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2017.
The ‘Shut Up’ hitmaker was presented with the gong by the leader of the Labour party Jeremy Corbyn at the Tate Modern in London on Tuesday (05.09.17) , but he felt slightly woozy when he picked up the honour.
While accepting his award he said: "I am a little bit drunk. This is an honour even to be on the cover of GQ and to be here at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.
"It’s an absolute honour. I am just so happy to be here, so blessed to be here, want to big up my whole team. "
The 24-year-old grime artist channelled his inner Jersey Boy at the star-studded ceremony as he adorned a blue suit with black lapels, a white shirt and black bow tie.
