Stormy Daniels blames custody dispute for CBB no-show

Stormy Daniels says she pulled out of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ over a custody dispute.
The 39-year-old porn star dropped out of the Channel 5 reality show minutes before the launch show on Thursday night (16.08.18) but Stormy claims she could not go into the ‘CBB’ house after a last-minute development in the custody case involving her seven-year-old daughter.
Stormy’s husband Glendon Crain filed for divorce in July and is seeking sole custody of their child.
After her planned appearance on ‘Loose Women’ was called off on Friday (17.08.18), she spoke off-camera to Jane Moore, who relayed her side of the story on-air to her fellow panellists.
Jane said: "I just had a nice long lovely chat with Stormy. She says that late last night there was a custody development involving her seven year old daughter in America. She’s in the middle of a divorce.
"She suddenly thought ‘I can’t commit to ‘CBB’ in the middle of this. Being a mother comes first.’
"She said that she told producers, ‘I will go on the live show and explain why I’m not going in to the house.’ That was agreed but suddenly they said ‘no, we don’t want you to do any of this’."
Jane also revealed Stormy denied claims she had not entered the ‘CBB’ house because her demands for an extra £100,000, on top of her £750,000 appearance fee, were not met.
She said: "The stories about her asking for more money are rubbish. Whatever she was going to be paid for the live show, she was going to donate to charity.
"She’s very angry, she feels that she’s had her power taken away from her. She wants to come on but she is being told she can’t.
"She also says that two plane tickets were bought for her to leave the country at 8.30 this morning. Not by her."
Jane’s fellow panellists asked about reports that "American sources" had paid her off so that she would not take part in ‘CBB’ and Jane said they were untrue.
Stormy had been expected to speak further about recent allegations she made that she slept with US President Donald Trump in 2006,
However, Jane pointed out that she had not contacted Channel 5 yet and this was only Stormy’s side of the story.
She said: "I haven’t spoken to Channel 5 so I don’t know their side. It is now a legal situation and she has been told she can’t talk to us."
A spokesperson for ‘CBB’ later contacted ‘Loose Women’ after Jane’s comments and denied all of Stormy’s claims.
They told the panel that the "makers of ‘CBB’ categorically deny what Stormy said about her exit".
