Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon reunite for The Trip to Greece

Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon have reunited for another series of ‘The Trip’.
The fourth season of the improvised comedy programme will begin filming later this month and will see the duo return as fictionalised versions of themselves and embark on a road trip around Greece.
‘The Trip to Greece’ will be directed Michael Winterbottom and will see Rob, 54, and Steve, 53, travel to Greek hot spots such as Assos, Kavala, Stagira, Athens, Epidaurus, Hydra and Plyos to dine on local cuisine.
The series will hit screens in 2020 and follows on from Sky’s ‘The Trip to Spain’, which saw the pair venture from Getaria to Malaga in 2017 and earned the ‘Gavin and Stacey’ star a BAFTA nomination for Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme.
Confirming the new series, Sky’s Head of Comedy Jon Mountague said in a statement: "What a joy to go island hopping with the incomparable Steve and Rob. Greece is the birthplace of democracy but more importantly the birthplace of Michael Winterbottom’s latest vision, which we can’t wait to share with our customers. Yamas!"
The series will be produced by Melissa Parmenter and Josh Haynes for Revolution Films, Baby Cow and Small Man productions with international sales handled by Tristan Whalley at Goalpost.
‘The Trip’ first aired in 2010 and followed the pair as they completed a restaurant tour of northern England and has also visited Italy for an outing on the hit show.
