Stephanie Waring has fluid in knee after Dancing on Ice fall

Stephanie Waring has hurt her hand and has "a bit of fluid" in her knee after she took a nasty tumble while rehearsing for ‘Dancing on Ice’ before Christmas.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actress is set to take to the ice in a few days’ time for the skating show’s highly-anticipated reboot series, but she has admitted she’s really nervous about her debut because she’s already suffered some serious injuries on the rink.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "I’ve hurt my hand but it’s not serious and it’s out of strap now. And my knee’s a bit swollen, I’ve got a bit of fluid in my knee. I’m falling over more as the weeks are going by and I’m not sure if that’s because I’m pushing myself harder and doing more technical things…
"I wanted to do it so bad. I’m not a skater or a dancer so I forget when we do the routines… I’m forgetting about my body and what my face is doing."
The 39-year-old star has been partnered with professional skater Sylvain Longchambon – who is married to ‘Coronation Street’ actress Samia Ghadie – for the show and has been watching her former co-star Jorgie Porter’s routines, from when she took part in the programme in 2012, to help her learn some of the moves.
Stephanie explained: "I feel like I’m the worst actress in the world as well because you perform the routines but I’m concentrating so much on the technical side of the routine and not falling over that you really have to think now I have to put a performance on top of it as well."
