Stephanie Pratt has joked she’s "always on the prowl" for a new man to date.
The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star has had her fair share of failed relationships in the past – including Spencer Matthews, Joey Essex, and Jonny Mitchell – but that hasn’t put her off searching for The One as she has admitted she’s always on the hunt.
Speaking to the MailOnline, she said: "I’m always on the prowl.
"The problem is, with dating, you know if you like someone during the first 15 minutes of a date. And if you don’t, it’s like ‘well this was a waste of time.’ But you can’t just up and leave. That’s why I like activity dates. So, with dinners, you have to sit there for an hour and a half. And even drinks, you can spend less time, but then you get drunk and you just shouldn’t do that really."
However, the 32-year-old reality TV beauty has restricted her criteria now and she only wants to date hockey players after her romances with TV stars flopped.
She explained: "I’ve dated a few from the New York Rangers and one from the LA Kings. I went out with one guy from the Rangers who took his teeth out at dinner. But that wasn’t even the issue. We had been chatting for six months, and it feels like you’ve already got a boyfriend by that point. And when we met I realised he was a great texter but in person, it just wasn’t right."
But, ultimately, Stephanie wants to meet someone who is her "best friend" because she understands that looks "fade" with age.
She said: "Looks fade, don’t they? You want to be with someone that you can just sit in silence with when you’re 80. My mom and dad met on a blind date and they are still together now, 40 years later. I’m named after the aunt who introduced them. I look at them and want to be them. And also to my brother [Spencer] and Heidi."
Stephanie was hoping to bag Prince Harry and was devastated when she found out that he had chosen Duchess Meghan – who was known as Meghan Markle before they tied the knot at Windsor Castle on May 19 – to walk down the aisle.
She joked: "I can’t believe he got married. I missed my chance there. He definitely seems like "a best friend" kind of man. Oh my God, I am obsessed with him."
