Stephanie Davis thought Jeremy McConnell was going to ‘kill’ her

Stephanie Davis thought her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell was going to "kill" her after he allegedly "threw her around like a rag doll" during a blazing row on March 10.
The 24-year-old actress appeared in court today (07.08.17) in Liverpool to give evidence against the Irish hunk – who faces an assault charge – and claimed he allegedly attacked her at her address in Merseyside after he suspected she was having an affair with her pregnant friend and a fireman.
She told the courtroom: "He was convinced I was having a lesbian affair with my pregnant friend, and the fireman across the road. He gets jealous. He was calling me a s**g, that I was fat and that no-one would ever want to touch me again.
"He put his thumb into the side of my gums, and that’s when I really started to panic. He was having, what I know and what Jeremy knows as, psychotic episodes.
"He took my phone off me, and I was trying to get it off him and he was ragging me everywhere. He bit the inside of my arm."
The brunette beauty described the alleged assault "like something out of a horror movie" before she claimed Jeremy had smashed a bottle of wine over his own head while under the influence of drugs.
The judge then decided to take a break after the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star broke down in tears in the witness stand because Jeremy – the father of her seven-month-old son Caben Albi – began laughing at her testimony and was reportedly heard muttering "lies, lies, lies" under his breath, according to the MailOnline.
She screeched: "Jeremy is laughing at me in the court. Why are you laughing? You’re a blatant liar. How can he do this to me?"
Stephanie then returned to the dock a short while later to state that the pair had ended their relationship in May 2016 – five months after they got together – but she decided to give the 27-year-old star another chance after their son was born in January 2017.
The defence accused Stephanie of "fabricating" parts of the assault and "embellishing" her injuries to stop Jeremy from going on the show ‘Ex on the Beach’.
She hit back: "I’d never had one mark since before I met Jeremy. But since I met Jeremy I’ve had to lie to the press and say they were from a deep tissue massage."
Asked if Jeremy was the love of her life, Stephanie said: "No, not at all. I thought he was; I did really really love Jeremy. I helped him go to rehab, but you don’t do the things that he’s done to your worst enemy, let alone the mother of your baby. I’m finally free; he’s not in control anymore."
The prosecution told the courtroom that the former couple had visited Gusto Albert Dock restaurant with friends to celebrate Stephanie’s birthday but, when they returned home, a row broke out because the actress had asked the former ‘Beauty School Cop Out’ star if he was on drugs.
During the row, Stephanie managed to call her mother Pauline and she raced round to the house at 4am to find her daughter "visibly shaken and upset", while Jeremy searched the property for a fireman he believed was hiding inside the property.
Pauline – who did not witness the alleged assault – added: "His eyes were gone; they were bloodshot, he was sweating profusely … I said: ‘you little b*****d, you had your chance; I warned you’. Something like that.
"I went to get the baby and a coat or a cardigan to put him in a car seat. I just wanted to get Steph and the baby out of there. We were so scared. I went to the toilet straight away because the stress kicked off my irritable bowel syndrome."
Jeremy has pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damage but denied assault.
The trial continues.
