Stephanie Davis has been reunited with her long-lost dog.
The 24-year-old actress was forced to say goodbye to her pet pooch Simba when she split from her boyfriend Jeremy McConnell last year as she had to fly back to Liverpool while the fluffy creature remained in the heavily-inked hunk’s care in Dublin, Ireland, but Friday (28.04.17) was certainly a happy day for the brunette beauty as she was reunited with the adorable Pomeranian after rekindling her romance with the Irish star.
Taking to her Instagram account this afternoon, Stephanie – who has three-month-old son Caben-Albi with Jeremy – uploaded a photograph of her cuddling up to Simba.
She accompanied it with the caption: "Re united with my second baby it’s been a long time, He’s all grown up now, back with his momma. Was emotional to say the least. It’s nice when everything finally works out, maybe there are happy endings after all
"Hey Simba.. mummy’s home. (sic)"
It’s not yet known whether Stephanie is planning to take Simba back to Liverpool with her now that she and Jeremy have decided to give their romance another go.
Stephanie and Jeremy – who fell in love while competing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in January 2016 – bought Simba as a puppy shortly after they left the infamous abode but the beautiful pooch was then passed on to the former ‘Beauty School Cop Out’ heartthrob’s best friend Ray because he was too busy with jobs to look after him.
The 27-year-old hunk then gave Simba to his now-late father in order to keep him company while he was suffering with cancer- a battle he tragically lost last month.
A source said previously: "After Jeremy and Steph broke up, Simba stayed with Jeremy’s best friend Ray while he met his work commitments. But as he clocked up more and more lucrative PA gigs across the UK, it soon became clear he simply wasn’t able to care for Simba anymore. Jeremy gave him to his dad, who loved him dearly. It was only meant to be a temporary arrangement, but the pair of them developed a really close bond as Jeremy’s dad was able to spend all his time with the little puppy. Jeremy decided to let him have Simba full-time as he saw how much joy he brought to his dad, and that it was the best, loving home for his little dog."
