Stephanie Davis is ‘bored’ of herself

Stephanie Davis is "bored" of reading about herself.
The 24-year-old actress has seen her face slapped across newspapers and plastered online since she struck up a relationship with Jeremy McConnell in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house last January, but she has admitted now that they’re finally getting things back on track following months of make ups, break ups and a baby, she hopes the details of her private life will now remain behind closed doors.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Monday (24.04.17), she said: "Believe me, I’m sick of seeing myself in the paper and online, I am bored too. A lot of it isn’t true."
However, the brunette beauty can see why people are so fascinated with her love life because their behaviour has been played out on social media and national television since they appeared in the infamous abode almost a year and a half ago.
She explained: "Looking back now from a different place, it’s been so up and down and it was a big joke … I am not perfect, I couldn’t sit on the sofa and say I’ve been an angel because I’m not, I’ve done things I regret, I’ve done things behind closed doors but I’m a firm believer in what’s done is done, I cant go back to the past."
The couple rekindled their romance earlier this year after a paternity test revealed Stephanie’s now-three-month-old son Caben belongs to the Irish hunk, but the pair are currently apart while Jeremy is in rehab for his drugs and alcohol addiction.
She explained: "It hasn’t been good, there was an underlying issue with the drugs and I’ve come on to support Jeremy, just to try and put everything straight a bit because to the public it seemed an absolute joke. I wasn’t saying anything and he was in denial and didn’t think he had a problem, but it was an underlying thing."
Stephanie later thanked the show’s presenter Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield for bringing them back together after they interviewed Jeremy on the programme in January over rumours that she had given him a legal document suggesting that she would only agree to a paternity if he signed an "unreasonable" agreement.
She said: "I thought you were a bit biased, there were certain elements, you know what it’s like to be a mum and I didn’t feel like anyone could side with me, I did say he could make amends and no one mentioned that. It was out of order, but I had a newborn baby, a hard pregnancy, I did this myself with a solicitor."
On reflection, the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star can see that her conditions were out of order but she insisted she only did it to keep her little baby out of the drama.
She added: "No person would sign that, I know that now, but I was so angry. I wanted to keep Caben out of it. I called Jeremy the next day [after the television interview] and said it had gone too far, let’s just get it [the paternity test] done."
