Stephanie Davis finding a ‘balance’ with son after Hollyoaks return

Stephanie Davis is finding a "balance" with her son now she’s returned to work.
The 25-year-old actress has 21-month-old Caben with ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell but the model isn’t involved in the youngster’s life, so the brunette beauty is grateful her mum has been able to help out now she’s back filming ‘Hollyoaks’ again.
Stephanie – who has reprised her role as Sinead O’Connor – said: "It’s not easy, but I’m starting to get a routine and a balance now. The long hours, I’ve put him in nursery because I’m on my own with him, but my mum’s been a great help, I don’t know what I’d do without her she has him when he’s not in nursery."
Stephanie is keen to bring Caben onto the set and loves the fact many of her co-stars, such as Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes McQueen), Alex Fletcher (Diane Hutchinson) and Chelsee Healey (Goldie McQueen), all have young children because it gives them a lot to talk about.
She added: "But I want to bring him up to set. It’s great because me, Jen, Alex, Chelsee, we’re all parents so it’s nice we’ve got that in common and all we do is talk about babies all day."
Prior to her ‘Oaks’ screen comeback, Stephanie joked her son’s bedtime stories would become her ‘Hollyoaks’ scripts, and she asked fans for advice about how she can get herself and Caben ready for her early starts on the Channel 4 soap.
She said: "I look really bad right now. Caben has just gone to sleep because he is teething. At the start of next week I’ve got God knows how many lines to learn and I’ve also got to try and get some sleep. Then get up, get me dressed, get him dressed, and then get all the way to work and be in make-up for half seven. It’s going to be a challenge.
"So, any mums who have to be in work early and get their children ready, can I have a few tips please? I really don’t know how I am going to do it. This is hard. It’s being a mum, hey."
