Stephanie Davis’ financial concern

Stephanie Davis is worried she won’t be able to afford her baby.
The 23-year-old actress – who recently bought her own home – has admitted she’s concerned she will struggle financially to raise her child, who is due into the world early next year, as a single parent following her split from the unborn tot’s father Jeremy McConnell.
Writing in her column for OK! magazine, the brunette beauty said: "You don’t realise how much you have to do on your own, yeah I’ve had the help of my family but, financially, it’s all really difficult – you have to hope you’re doing the right job."
However, despite her money worries, the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star can’t wait to find out whether she’s expecting a little boy or girl at her 20-week scan next week so she can start buying baby stuff.
She explained: "I’m looking forward to talking about the baby’s sex (eek!), going shopping for baby stuff, which I’ll be doing next week, and sorting out my new home for us. I’m on the search for nursery stuff next week which is exciting! (sic)"
Meanwhile, Stephanie is battling with acute morning sickness at the moment and is hoping the tummy-churning side effect will subside once she gets a little further into her pregnancy.
She said recently: "I’m always hungry before bed now I feel sick … I’ve got a headache and then in the middle of the night I wake up I want to eat the whole fridge …
"I feel a bit better today but I’ve not been very well the past few days, not well at all but I feel a lot better now."
Stephanie found out she was pregnant back in early May – a few days after she’d split from the Irish hunk – but is adamant she will raise the baby alone until Jeremy cleans up his act.
She said: "He’s completely neglected his own flesh and blood.
"He doesn’t want to believe it and I think if Jeremy is ever to be around our baby, he’d have to prove himself to me and to his family that he’ll get the help he needs because I’d never put my baby around someone like that."
