Stephanie Davis has been discharged from hospital.
The 23-year-old actress was rushed to accident and emergency last Wednesday (02.11.16) after she was struck down with a mystery illness and, although she’s still "on the mend", she’s now back in the comfort of her home recuperating.
Taking to her Instagram account on Monday (07.11.16), she wrote: "Hi everyone just wanted to let you all know I’m finally home and on the mend. Thank you so much for all your lovely messages and continued support over the last week. It really means a lot. Love always Stephanie and Bump xxx (sic)"
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ star – who is an avid user of social media – is heavily pregnant with her first child – a baby boy – and sparked fears she’d gone into labour after her presence on Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram came to a halt last week.
A spokesperson for the star said: "We can confirm Stephanie has been in hospital since Wednesday 2nd November due to an illness and is currently undergoing further tests.
"Stephanie has been subject to a number of rumours online the last few days regarding her pregnancy. We would like to confirm Stephanie has not given birth and her baby is doing well."
She’s due to give birth to her little boy, whom she has with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell, early next year but she’s convinced he’ll arrive before Christmas because he’s so "big."
She said recently: "My friend saw a psychic the other day and they told her I wouldn’t make my due date. I would be made up with a Christmas baby! It would be like the best present ever."
This wasn’t the first time the former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star was admitted to hospital during her pregnancy as she was rushed in for excruciating pain in her stomach, which doctors initially feared was early labour, during her second trimester.
She said at the time: "I ended up going to hospital. My mum was going to call an ambulance. They checked me out and they actually thought I was in early labour because I was having what they thought was early contractions. I was on the gas and air. Gas and air was really weird, I didn’t know what was going on."
