Stanley Tucci won’t do a Devil Wears Prada sequel

Stanley Tucci insists there will "never" be a ‘Devil Wears Prada’ sequel.
The 55-year-old actor starred alongside Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway in the 2006 drama but despite finding the role of Nigel "perfect", he isn’t keen on doing a sequel.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: "That’s never going to happen. That role was so great because it was so beautifully written and he was incredibly funny and there was a real substance to it. It was a truly great American studio movie in every way. Perfect in every way.
"Sometimes it’s best just to leave things. If you try to redo it, let’s face it, there are very few sequels that actually work."
The news comes after the actor revealed he would be returning to the ‘Transformers’ franchise to reprise his role as Joyce in the upcoming fifth instalment, ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’.
The Oscar nominee appeared at the Deauville Film Festival to receive a tribute in celebration of his glittering movie career but he doesn’t feel he has earned it.
He said: "Cinema is a collaborative art form. That collaboration is one that has brought us so many great films, but it’s in that spirit of collaboration that we hope we can all move forward and I think in this way, politicians might have something to learn from artists. I don’t feel like I’ve achieved enough to warrant this, but I’m glad of it."
