Stacey Solomon had hairy "bush" legs in primary school.
The 28-year-old TV presenter has decided not to shave her body hair for a whole month to see how much hair spouts out from her underarm, pubic area and slim pins, but she’s a little concerned because she had a hairy issue when she was younger.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (08.11.17), Stacey said: "I love a hairy leg. I was so nervous at school about having hairy legs because my parents are both super hairy and my hairs are thick and dark and black. I used to, my mum didn’t let us shave until we were in secondary school, go in in a skirt and these bush legs.
"I hated it. I hated how everyone looked at me and felt really unconscious and now I’m like I’m not shaving for anyone. He loves the fur, Joe [Swash, her boyfriend] does."
Stacey, Nadia Sawalha, Linda Robson and Kaye Adams have all agreed to stop shaving until December but the blonde beauty doesn’t mind because she prefers to wear trousers anyway.
She said: "I think I might be the topic of many chats in the back room because people are quite alarmed by the state of my grooming.
"I don’t shave a lot. I can’t be bothered, I’d rather wear trousers. They keep me warm.
"Linda and I have decided we’re not going to shave until December now, we’re going to go wild, go native for a few weeks."
Linda, 59, also quipped that the hairs are there for a reason and admitted she lets them grow everywhere but on her chin.
The ‘Birds of a Feather’ star said: "I’m guessing if they’re there, they’re supposed to be there, so why am I supposed to shave them off all the time?
"I grow everything, everywhere – but I refuse to let the hairs on my chin grow."
