Stacey Solomon doesn’t "see a gender" when she falls in love.
The 26-year-old TV presenter has admitted she doesn’t have a specific criteria when she is looking for her suitor, and the star made the admission when discussing whether sexuality was a choice with Samantha Fox on ‘Loose Women’ on Thursday (25.08.16).
When Samantha was asked whether her being attracted to women was a conscious choice, the 50-year-old former glamour model – who lost her partner Myra Stratton to cancer in 2015 – said: "It wasn’t a choice, I met her [Myra] and fell in love.
"When I was younger I had a little bit of a crush on Lindsey Wagner, ‘Bionic Woman’ and Sharon Stone when I watched ‘Basic Instinct, but with Myra the minute I met her I had a connection and you can’t help that feeling."
To which the former ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of here’ champion – who is currently dating actor and presenter Joe Swash replied: "I can really sympathise with that – not sympathise – but I can relate to that, because I feel like I fall in love with people. I don’t really see a gender or a look or what they’re wearing."
Samantha further backed up Stacey and said that categorising people was "silly" when it comes to true love.
She said: "It’s really silly to pigeonhole people because love’s a great thing and you can’t really help who you fall in love with."
However, this year’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star, who was evicted from the Channel 4 show on Tuesday (23.08.16), has admitted it wasn’t easy to come out at first, as she admitted: "When it first came out that I was with a woman, at first I was like, I was a bit nervous at first having been a pin up for many a guy. That dream of marrying Sam Fox or sleeping with Sam Fox, I don’t think they’re having anymore. They still come to my concerts with their kids."
She continued: "I just fell in love with Myra and that’s that. I wasn’t looking it just happened. I don’t agree with that label thing. Love is Love."
