Skepta will release his new album next month.
The 33-year-old rapper/grime star has given fans the first look of the artwork for ‘Konnichiwa’ with a sneak-peek on Instagram, and revealed the record will drop on May 6.
The cover, which features a reverse image of first class stamp , with what seems to be a back view of Skepta’s hat-covered head where Queen Elizabeth’s profile would typically be, together with a postmark, was uploaded on the photo-sharing site along with the caption: ‘#Konnichiwa the album, May 6th. Greatness.’
Fans have been eagerly awaiting this album, which was originally due to be released last year.
Last month, Skepta announced he had almost finished working on the long-awaited album, which was originally expected to be released last year.
He posted: "I’m finishing my album ‘Konnichiwa’ this week. Finished! Done! Three years of my life encapsulated on a CD."
He also shared a photo on Instagram of the final tracklisting being drawn up, writing: "Official tracklist artwork by @Milkavelli616 #BBK #616 #LAIGON".
Skepta – whose last studio album was 2011’s ‘Doin’ It Again’ is headlining this summer’s Wireless Festival.
He will be performing on Sunday July 10 with his whole Boy Better Know collective to close the festival.
