Simon Cowell wants to work with Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan on some TV projects.
The couple – who quit as senior members of the British Royal Family earlier this year and moved to California with their son Archie – recently signed a huge deal with Netflix and media mogul Simon is keen to work with them in the future.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Simon is a huge fan of Prince Harry and Meghan and has known the Prince for many years.
“Harry used to pop along to ‘The X Factor’ back in the day. They have mutual friends in common and now Harry and Meghan are moving into the entertainment industry themselves.
“Simon has been happy to offer his support on a casual basis.”
Simon, 61, is close friends with music producer David Foster, 70, and his wife Katharine McPhee, 36.
David and Katherine – who went to school with Meghan, 39 – were recently spotted celebrating their pregnancy announcement on a dinner date with Harry, 36, and Meghan.
And Meghan recently made a surprise appearance via video link on Simon’s ‘America’s Got Talent’ TV series, showing the close ties between the royal couple and Cowell.
Meanwhile, Meghan recently claimed she was the “most trolled person in the world” in 2019, in a new interview on the ‘Teenager Therapy’ podcast.
She said: “I don’t care if you are 15 or 25, if people are saying things about you that aren’t true, what that does to your mental and emotional health it’s so damaging.”
Harry added: “There are things that are said digitally that nobody would say in person.”
