Simon Cowell is creating a game show for children.
The ‘X Factor’ and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ creator – who is expecting his first child with girlfriend Lauren Silverman this month – is hoping to entertain youngsters with ‘Keep It In the Family’.
The game show allows children to call the shots over the adults in their lives.
The Saturday night primetime show is set to be hosted by Bradley Walsh and will see the kids win prizes for their families by completing a series of challenges.
Simon’s family-friendly game show format follows his high profile flop ‘Red or Black?’, which was hosted by Ant and Dec.
The expensive show – which had two series between 2011 and 2012 – boasted a £15 million budget and a £1 million grand prize for the winner.
However, ratings and reviews for the series were unimpressive.
Meanwhile, it is believed Simon, 54, could return to the panel of his first hit show ‘The X Factor’ this year after quitting for the US version in 2011.
A source said: "Cowell is determined to get the show back to its best.
"He’ll sign the deal very soon but has told the team that he’s on board. Everyone’s over the moon."
