Simon Cowell now judges BGT talent like his son Eric, 6

Simon Cowell loves putting novelty acts through on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ since becoming a father.
According to one of the show’s presenters Ant McPartlin, one of the reasons Simon decided to put a "keyboard-playing dinosaur" through is because he now sees things through the eyes of his six-year-old son Eric.
Ant said: "Everything he sees that he would normally have buzzed off in years gone by, now he’s like, ‘My son would love that.’
"So, he tends to put them through. Like this year we have a keyboard-playing dinosaur.
"Even if a keyboard came out a few years ago he would have buzzed them straight away, and now it’s a dinosaur playing the keyboard and it’s a yes from him!"
Fellow judge Amanda Holden agrees that fatherhood has certainly brought out Simon’s fun side, by suggesting he is now keener to get up on stage than her and fellow ‘BGT’ judge David Walliams.
She said:"Simon always takes the mickey out of David and me saying, ‘You’re always like a rat up a drainpipe, when you’re asked to go on stage.’
"He always says we like to show off. But now he’s the one who is out of his chair before David is!"
Amanda has warned viewers they’ll never see David get the better of Simon – because even if he did Simon would never let the footage come to light, as he "edits" the show.
She added: "Simon edits the show, so you know who’s going to win between the two of them."
