Simon Cowell has been giving relationship advice to his three-year-old son Eric.
The music mogul, who has Eric with his long-term partner Lauren Silverman, has revealed he’s been advising his son about non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), which are contracts that prohibit ex-partners from sharing secrets about their time with celebrities.
Simon shared: "I sat Eric down and said: ‘I’m going to teach you three very, very important letters for when you get your first girlfriend’ and I said: ‘it’s NDA’.
"So Lauren comes in and I said: ‘Eric, what’s the first thing you’re gonna do when you get a girlfriend?’ and he goes: ‘Daddy says I have to get a NDA’ and she goes: ‘You taught him that?’ and I said: ‘Well that’s good advice.’ "
Simon, 57, has also backed Eric to follow him into the entertainment world, rather than pursuing "academics".
And Simon said that even though his son has yet to attend school, he’s already been shown how to one day assume control of his business empire.
The outspoken TV star told Fox News: "He has to take over for me. I’ve put him in training. He’s down at the shows, he has the earplugs in. I would absolutely love it if  he could do what I do.
"If he gravitates towards academics, then fine – I would encourage him but I have a feeling he’s gonna be more like me. I’m not gonna lie, I’d love him to one day say, ‘Can I work for you and learn how to do it.’
"That would make me feel incredible – and then you have a legacy."
Meanwhile, Simon has admitted that although Lauren now attends business meetings with him, she doesn’t meddle like Yoko Ono was accused of doing during her marriage to John Lennon.
He quipped: "There are times when I watch other people and they are like, ‘Right, here she goes’ – but she is passionate about what she does so I encourage her. We haven’t got to the Yoko place yet."
