Brandi Glanville only joined Twitter to keep an eye on LeAnn Rimes.
The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star set up a profile on the social networking site to track her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, and his 31-year-old wife, who tied the knot in 2011 after embarking on an affair on the set of the movie 'Northern Lights' that led to the breakdown of both of their first marriages in 2009.
In the first chapter of her upcoming second book, 'Drinking & Dating: P.S. Social Media Is Ruining Romance,' Brandi wrote: "When I first discovered the benefits of technology and social media. I used it to obsess about my husband, his future wife, and our children throughout the breakup and divorce."
Brandi, 41, has had a long-running public feud with 'Spitfire' hitmaker LeAnn, who she refers to as a "c**try singer," but the pair were thought to have buried the hatchet last year when the singer sent the reality TV star flowers for Mother's Day in May.
Brandi, who has sons, Jake, 10, and Mason, six, with Eddie, previously predicted her acrimonious relationship with LeAnn would drastically improve if the singer got pregnant because it would help her to learn boundaries as a mother and stepmother.
She said: "Hopefully, they'll have a child of their own and she'll understand better what a proper boundary is for a stepmother and a mother."

Ashley Greene has bought a new home for $2.43 million.
The 'Twilight Saga' star, whose dog died when her West Hollywood condo went up in flames last year, has splashed out on a new mansion in Beverly Hills after leasing it for a few months.
Real estate sources told The Real Estalker website that the 26-year-old brunette beauty's new three-bedroom pad boasts a master suite with a private sitting room, swimming pool, steam shower, dry sauna and breath-taking views of Los Angeles as the 2,713 square-foot property is located in a private, gated community in one of the canyons.
Ashley, who is worth $10.5 million, was "inconsolable" when a fire, which started when a candle in her unit set a sofa ablaze, killed her Fox Terrier, Marlo, last March.
The building's doorman Adrian Mayorga filed a lawsuit against the actress in November, in which he claimed he was hurt running through the smoke-filled hallways, while yelling and screaming for residents to flee.
Four residents in neighbouring units have also sued, claiming the fire wreaked havoc on them with soot and water damage.
The 'Pan Am' star, who previously dated Joe Jonas, is currently in a relationship with Liam Hemsworth's best pal Paul Khoury.
The couple took his parents to the Super Bowl in New York City on Sunday (02.02.14).

Miley Cyrus is "proud" of herself for giving up cigarettes.
The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker, who previously admitted she regularly uses marijuana, has revealed she stopped smoking tobacco in early December.
She wrote on Twitter on Monday (03.02.14): "2 months no cigs #proudofmyself (sic)."
The 21-year-old star gave no indication about whether she intends to stop smoking other substances too but it seems unlikely given Miley gushed about her love of "weed" during an interview with Ronan Farrow for the March issue of W magazine.
She said: "I love weed. I just love getting stoned. I just want it to be back to where it's, like, organic, good weed."
Miley's good friend Demi Lovato hit out at celebrities who glamourize drugs earlier this week.
In a tribute to the late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who died of an apparent heroin overdose in New York City on Sunday (02.02.14), the 'Skyscraper' hitmaker, who has struggled with marijuana and cocaine abuse in the past, tweeted: "I wish more people would lose the stigma and treat addiction as the deadly and serious DISEASE that it is. Drugs are not something to glamorize in pop music or film to portray as harmless recreational fun."

George Clooney had a rifle held to his head in Darfur.
The 52-year-old actor admitted his thirst to "shine light" on important stories led to the traumatic experience when he was making a documentary about the genocide in western Sudan in 2007.
Recalling the incident, 'The Monuments Men' star told Variety magazine: "We got stopped in the middle of nowhere, where we shouldn't have been. A little 10-year-old kid came over with a Kalashnikov assault rifle to my head, basically wanted to get us out of the truck."
Despite the incident, George has returned to the region many times.
But the actor and producer insisted that while he feels very strongly about highlighting certain issues, he has no political aspirations.
He said: "I like the ability to shine light and make it loud. But boy, the idea of administrating and legislating. What a nightmare."
Following the terrifying encounter, the actor co-founded the humanitarian aid organisation Not On Our Watch with a few of his friends, including Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and Don Cheadle, six years ago.
George previously brushed off the ambush during an interview with Zoo Weekly in 2008 and said: "They pointed guns at us and stole what they could. It happens all the time."

Paul Walker's daughter is set to inherit his $25 million fortune.
The 40-year-old actor, who perished alongside his friend Roger Rodas on November 30, when the car they were travelling in lost control and crashed in Santa Clarita, California, named his 15-year-old child, Meadow Rain Walker, as the sole beneficiary of his entire estate in his will.
'The Fast and the Furious' star appointed his father Paul Sr. as the executor, who has filed the will with a probate court, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
He has also petitioned to have the court appoint the late actor's mother, Cheryl Walker, as Meadow's legal guardian and the guardian of the teenager's $25 million fortune, as per his son's instructions in the will.
Meadow currently lives with her mother, Rebecca Soteros, but began living with her famous father full-time shortly before his tragic death.
A court hearing is set to take place later this month.
A source previously said that Paul was planning to give up acting to spend more time with Meadow and was thrilled she had moved in with him.
The insider said: "He was happier than you can imagine to have her living with him full-time. She was the love of his life, he was an amazing dad and he was so happy that she chose to live with him because he never felt like he got enough time with her."

Philip Seymour Hoffman will be laid to rest in New York City on Friday (07.02.14).
The 'Capote' star's funeral is set to take place at St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church in Manhattan shortly before noon.
The 46-year-old actor's family and friends, including a number of his famous co-stars, will also gather for a private wake at the nearby Frank E. Campbell Funeral home between 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday (06.02.14), according to the New York Post.
Philip's long-term partner Mimi O'Donnell, who reportedly kicked him out of their house a few months ago in an act of "tough love" in a bid to get him to seek help for their three children, Cooper, 10, Tallulah, seven, and Willa, five, was spotted arriving at the funeral home with the late actor's personal assistant, Bella Wing-Davey, today (04.02.14) to make arrangements for the services.
Meanwhile, police have revealed the Oscar-winning actor, who died from an apparent heroin overdose on Sunday (02.02.14), withdrew $1,200 from his bank account shortly before his death.
A law enforcement source said bank records show he took the money out in six instalments from the D'Agostino grocery store near his West Village apartment on Saturday night (01.02.14), and they are now trying to track down who sold him the drugs.
Philip, who had been sober for over 20 years before relapsing last year, recently predicted his drug addiction would kill him if he didn't get sober and police found 20 hypodermic needles and 50 packets of heroin in his apartment.

Lena Dunham has voiced her support for Dylan Farrow.
The 'Girls' creator and star praised Woody Allen's adopted daughter, 28, for being "courageous" after she penned an open letter over the weekend alleging the 'Blue Jasmine' director, 78, had abused her at the age of seven.
The 27-year-old actress shared a link to Dylan's letter on Twitter and wrote: "To share in this way is courageous, powerful and generous. Please read."
She added: "Grateful my timeline is full of so much love and respect for Dylan."
But Lena later hit back at some of her followers for suggesting Dylan had falsely accused her famous father, whose lawyer, Elkan Abramowitz, has since denied the allegations and claimed they were simply "implanted" by Dylan's mother and Woody's former partner Mia Farrow.
The Emmy-winning actress tweeted on Monday (03.02.14): "In wake of Dylan's letter I've noticed a lot of guys obsessed with the idea of being falsely accused.
"As if you would just be walking down the street one day, get accused of assault or sexual misconduct, and suddenly life would derail ...
"Though there have, of course, been plenty of terrible and unjust cases in the past, remember ... Most victims NEVER speak up. Most never feel they can.
"These are not stories we tell for fun, attention or revenge."
Dylan's claims were previously investigated and dismissed in 1992, and Woody's lawyer suggested they have only resurfaced now out of Mia's "desire to hurt" her former partner.

Scott Disick is suing Mercedes-Benz.
The 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' star has filed a lawsuit against the auto company, alleging it sold him a "virtually useless" 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG because the vehicle is constantly breaking down.
In legal documents, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, the 30-year-old failed restaurateur said that the car, which costs $190,000 new, is unreliable and has spent more time in a repair shop in Los Angeles than on the road.
Scott is accusing Mercedes-Benz of failing to make the car roadworthy after numerous attempts and is seeking a full refund plus expenses.
News of the lawsuit comes after a difficult few months for Scott, whose father, Jeffrey Disick, died in early January, less than three months after his mother, Bonnie, passed away from cirrhosis of the liver.
A source close to the star, who has two children, Mason, four, and Penelope, 19 months, with his long-term girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, said: "[Scott is] very, very sad. The whole family is trying to comfort him. Everyone's upset. To lose both parents so close together, it doesn't seem fair."
