George Clooney doesn’t want Twitter

George Clooney isn't cut out for Twitter.
The 'Monuments Men' star doesn't want an account on the social networking site because he's worried he'll post inappropriate comments when he's had too much to drink.
When asked whether he'd sign up to the site, he told Variety: "[No,] just because I like to have a drink at night. I could easily say something stupid, and I also don't think you need to be that available."
The 52-year-old actor also admitted he can't imagine his friends Brad Pitt, 50, or Matt Damon, 43, joining Twitter either because neither of them have any interest in sharing their thoughts on the site, which sees each post limited to just 140 characters.
He joked: "I don't see Matt or Brad or myself wanting to get our thoughts out in a 140-character-thing at three in the morning.
"God forbid, you take a sleeping pill and wake up and the sentences don't even make sense. What a horrible idea."
George has previously branded celebrities "a moron" for using Twitter as a way of reaching out to their fans.
He said: "I think anyone who is famous is a moron if they're on Twitter. It's just stupid."

Peter Andre got engaged on New Year’s Eve

Peter Andre got engaged on New Year's Eve (31.12.13).
The 'Kid' singer announced he was to marry girlfriend Emily MacDonagh last month following the birth of their daughter Amelia but he has now admitted the couple kept the news private for some time - though his six-year-old daughter Princess, from his marriage to Katie Price, wasn't shocked to find out.
Discussing telling the children, Peter - who also has eight-year-old son Junior with Katie - said: "Princess turned round and went, 'Er, hello! I already knew that. I've seen the ring on her finger for the last few weeks.' Because I proposed on New Year's Eve and we wanted to wait for the right moment to tell them. I was like 'How did you...? You are so intelligent.' And she went, 'I know!' She's a very bright girl. I love her so much, she's incredible.
"Junior was so happy too, but he was like, "Really?!'"He hadn't noticed the ring - like a typical guy!"
The 40-year-old singer is excited about having all his children involved in the wedding in some way.
Speaking to Parentdish, he said: "Will Princess be a bridesmaid? I think that would be without question. The wedding will be a beautiful family affair when it happens.
"And because we're waiting a few years, Amelia will be old enough to walk down the aisle with us. Just thinking about that makes me happy. I know it's a way in the future, but it's great!
"Junior loves the attention! I don't know how he'll be involved, I haven't thought about it, but he may well be the entertainment - he loves to perform, that's for sure."
And Peter is delighted with how well his children have bonded with their new half-sister.
He said: " To me they look like teenagers now the way they act towards the baby. Sometimes I hear them going, 'OK darling, that's no problem, don't worry.' They've both really matured."

Woody Allen defended by son

Dylan Farrow's brother has defended Woody Allen.
The 'Blue Jasmine' filmmaker's adopted daughter spoke out at the weekend alleging he had abused her at the age of seven, but her older sibling Moses insists the allegations were part of his mother Mia Farrow's "vengeful" response to her former partner's affair with her adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn.
Moses - who is estranged from his mother and several of his siblings - said: "My mother drummed it into me to hate my father for tearing apart the family and sexually molesting my sister. And I hated him for her for years. I see now that this was a vengeful way to pay him back for falling in love with Soon-Yi.
"Of course Woody did not molest my sister. She loved him and looked forward to seeing him when he would visit. She never hid from him until our mother succeeded in creating the atmosphere of fear and hate towards him.
"I don't know if my sister really believes she was molested or is trying to please her mother. Pleasing my mother was very powerful motivation because to be on her wrong side was horrible."
Dylan - who is now 28 and goes by a different name - has rebutted all of Moses' claims, including that Mia was abusive, "intimidating" and hit her children.
She told People magazine: "This is such a betrayal to me and my whole family. My memories are the truth and they are mine and I will live with that for the rest of my life.
"My mother never coached me. She never planted false memories in my brain. My memories are mine. I remember them. She was distraught when I told her. When I came forward with my story she was hoping against hope that I had made it up.
"I will not see my family dragged down like this. I can't stay silent when my family needs me and I will not abandon them like Soon-Yi and Moses. My brother is dead to me. My mother is so brave and so courageous and taught me what it means to be strong and brave and tell the truth even in the face of these monstrous lies."
Mia - who has 14 children from several relationships and solo adoptions - first made the abuse claims during a 1992 custody battle with the filmmaker. The allegations were investigated but later dropped without charge.

Selena Gomez went to rehab

Selena Gomez went to rehab last month.
The 21-year-old star - who has an on/off relationship with Justin Bieber - was admitted to Dawn at The Meadows recovery centre in Arizona on January 5, and spent two weeks at the facility, which treats people aged 18 to 26 years old who are "struggling with emotional trauma, addiction or dual diagnosis concerns."
Her representative confirmed: "Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse."
The former Disney child star was urged to seek help by those close to her amid concerns her partying was getting out of control.
One source told RadarOnline.com: "Her friends and family became increasingly worried that there might be a serious problem with Selena.
"Particularly, her parents. The partying was, at times, wild. They wanted to help her -- and they very much encouraged her to go to rehab. Others very close to her also urged her to seek professional help."
Another added: "It's important to remember that Selena had worked in Hollywood non-stop for six years. She was exhausted. Selena was smart enough to understand that she needed to take control of her life.
"It just got to a point where she needed to get out of Los Angeles, get away from 'the scene' and the pressures of Hollywood, to also get away from those who had, admittedly, become a bad influence on her.
"Selena needed to take the opportunity to work on herself. She realised she needed help."
Selena - who reportedly "regularly" smoked marijuana with Justin - had been due to tour Australia this month but cancelled the shows in order to "spend time on [herself]."
And the brunette beauty is now said to be doing well.
A source said: "Selena is now happy and very healthy and already getting back to work."

Kylie Jenner in trampolining accident

Kylie Jenner was rushed to hospital after a trampolining accident.
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star sought medical help yesterday (04.02.14) after a bouncing competition with her half-sister Khloé Kardashian got a little too out of hand.
It is not known what injuries the 16-year-old beauty sustained during the play fighting sequence, but she was not seriously hurt as she took to her Instagram page to share details of the accident.
She posted a picture of herself clutching her nose, which was accompanied with the caption: "In the hospital thanks to @khloekardashian. (Look at her page for the reason why).
"My mom said "never thought I would take u to the doctor for a trampoline accident at this age) this means war Khloe (sic)."
However, Khloé, 29, hit back at her younger sibling, claiming she injured herself by falling over.
She posted a series of four pictures on her Instagram account, which saw the pair bouncing on the trampoline together, before Kylie tumbled and Khloe is seen holding her back.
She wrote: "Kylie this is proof you did it to yourself! Sorry not sorry! Just kidding I am sorry my little bug a boo!! Let the war continue!!!! (sic)."

Perrie Edwards ready to wed

Perrie Edwards doesn't think she's too young to get married.
The 20-year-old Little Mix singer is engaged to One Direction hunk Zayn Malik, 21, and she says they "know" they are ready to settle down and commit themselves to one another.
Perrie told 'Access Hollywood': "We're young, but I think when you know, you know.
"We've been together for a while now, so it is nice."
Perrie - who got engaged to Zayn last August after almost two years of dating - says she and the 'Little Things' hitmaker get nothing but support from their respective fans.
She added: "The fans have been amazing, they are so supportive of us."
While the couple haven't yet set a wedding date, Zayn's mother, Trisha Malik, recently said she expects them to tie the knot later this year.
Speaking in December she said: ''Perrie is a lovely girl and I get on really well with her.
"They're thinking of the end of next year, although no date has yet been set yet.
"If they have children I wouldn't like to be so far away from them. I would really like to still be part of their lives."

Bill Murray: Matt Damon prank was good

Bill Murray loved seeing Matt Damon "victimised" by George Clooney.
The 'Monuments Men' actor-and-director pranked his co-star by secretly having the wardrobe department take in his clothes every week and Bill admits the entire set were in on the joke.
He said: "The only one who got victimised was Matt Damon. He got Damon pretty good with his uniform. Taking his pants in a quarter-in every week...
"The rest of us just got to enjoy that because we all knew and we'd see him in just firing those abs, really firing them to try and keep those trousers up.
"You'd go 'That's great, do you want to do another set?' and you could see him go like, 'Oh my muscles are fatigued, I'm good', that was good."
Despite falling victim to the prank, Matt insists he had a great time working on the film - which follows an Allied group who try and save pieces of art and other items of cultural importance before their destruction by Adolf Hitler - because everyone was so professional.
He told 'Entertainment Tonight': "It's not that we were like yucking it up or toasting marshmallows on the set or anything, it was really because we've all made a lot of movies and everybody independently appreciated being on a movie where the script was so good, the director knew what he was doing and was in control and where we had fellow cast members who were experienced enough to know that's as good as it gets and it was a best experience for all of us in that way."
And another star of the film, John Goodman says it was one of the best movie-making experiences he has ever had.
He said: "It was probably the most fun I've ever had working on a film. There was a lot of good down time. Swapping lives, telling stories. George was so professional, he had his work done ahead of time."
