Shirley Ballas has a face and neck laser lift three times a year.
The 57-year-old ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ head judge has been heavily praised over the past year for her youthful looks and enviable glow on screen, but she has now revealed that her appearance isn’t just down to good genetics as she visits a well-renowned clinic in Los Angeles every three months for a rejuvenation treatment.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, she said: "Three times a year I visit (an LA clinic) for face and neck laser lifts. They take blood from your arm, separate the red cells from the white and pump it back into your skin. They’ve done Kris Jenner."
And the Queen of Latin will no doubt be paying a visit to the clinic before she reclaims her seat on the panel of the Ballroom and Latin competition in September.
Shirley was hired as the replacement for Len Goodman – who left the show in 2016 after 12 years as head judge – and, although she received mixed reviews in the beginning, fans warmed to her towards the end of the series and she’s been rehired.
Shirley was paid £180,000 for her work as head judge on the BBC One show last year, but after signing on to continue for a second series, she’s now being given a hefty £250,000 contract, matching the sum earned by previous head judge Len.
A source said recently: "Shirley was thrilled her salary was brought up to what Len Goodman was paid in the role of head judge.
"She couldn’t see why she should get less than the person she replaced – especially after more than proving herself in her first year. It’s a great victory for equal pay."
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will return to screens in September but fans can expect a huge shake up as bosses have already started axing some of professionals.
