Sherif Lanre is set to give the "full story" regarding his shock ‘Love Island’ exit.
The 20-year-old chef "mutually agreed" with the production team to depart the ITV2 reality dating show this week after breaking the rules during his nine-day stint on the programme, and now the star will give his "side of the story" on why he was booted out of the villa.
An insider told The Sun Online: "Sherif has been meeting with some top agents today and he is hoping that they will be able to guide him in getting the truth out there.
"He is desperate for viewers to know what really happened and to stop the speculation – he wants to tell the full story and explain his side of things.
"Sherif just wants to get everything off his chest so that he can move on from the scandal."
And the ITV2 star – who was coupled up with Anna Vakili on the show at the time of his exit – is hoping to sign with a celebrity agent to help him on his quest for fame.
The insider added: "Sherif has been telling mates that he wants to enjoy the perks following his ‘Love Island’ stint and is making a bid for fame. Once he settles on a celeb agent he’ll start the process – kicking off with what really went down in the villa."
This comes after Sherif previously admitted that he spoke to producers after breaking the rules on the show, and "regrets" his actions.
He said: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.
"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20-year-old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.
"I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside."
A ‘Love Island’ spokesperson told BANG Showbiz: "After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the ‘Love Island’ villa."
