Sherif Lanre has insisted he is "all good" since leaving ‘Love Island’ and has "bigger things to come".
The 20-year-old chef "mutually agreed" to depart the ITV2 dating show this week after breaking the rules during his nine-day stint on the programme, and he has now taken to his Instagram Stories to thank his fans, family and friends for their "support".
He wrote: "Thank you to everyone including my friends and family for the support I’ve come back to.
"I appreciate you all and hope I provided some good, positive moments during my time on Love Island and for anyone wondering I’m all good."
Sherif also hashtagged the popular Islander saying "it is what it is", along with a crying-with-laughter emoji, and said he has "bigger things to come".
This comes after Sherif yesterday (11.06.19) admitted he spoke to producers after breaking the rules on the show, and "regrets" his actions.
He said: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.
"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20-year-old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.
"I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside."
A ‘Love Island’ spokesperson told BANG Showbiz: "After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the ‘Love Island’ villa."
It is yet to be confirmed what Sherif – who was coupled up with Anna Vakili on the show – did to break the rules.
