Shaughna Phillips ‘can’t wait’ to eat McDonald’s food

Shaughna Phillips "can’t wait" to eat McDonald’s food once again.

The 26-year-old TV star – who is best known for appearing on ‘Love Island’ – has revealed she’s eager to taste her favourite fast-food again, as the UK begins to emerge from lockdown restrictions.

Asked what restaurant meal she’s most looking forward to eating, Shaughna replied: "McDonald’s! I’ve never wanted a double cheeseburger and a milkshake so much in my whole life! I can’t wait!"

Shaughna is also eager to head to Spain to enjoy the summer sun and to see some of her family, if restrictions allow for overseas travel.

She told Metro.co.uk: "I do wanna go to Dubai but it’s long haul, Marbella is a short trip over the water.

"That’ll probably be my first holiday. The first place I’ll go after this will probably be Ireland, just because I wanted to go over there as soon as I came out of the villa anyway.

"That’s where my family are, well some of my dad’s family. My dad’s grave is there so I just wanted to go there when ‘Love Island’ was over and try and recollect myself, and I’ve not been able to do that yet.

"I don’t really class Ireland as a holiday but that’ll probably be the first place I go to once lockdown is over."

Meanwhile, Shaughna recently suggested ‘Love Island’ producers edited scenes to change their meaning.

The blonde beauty starred on the ITV show earlier this year – but when she watched some scenes back, Shaughna didn’t recognise everything she saw.

The reality star said: "You know what happens behind the scenes, and you know the ending, so it’s a little bit boring watching it back.

"Also there’s certain parts that have been shown on TV that were kind of completely different to how they happened. Because I know that, I don’t really want it to taint any of my memories that I’ve got."
