Seth Meyers has become a father for the first time.
The 42-year-old talk show host and his wife Alexi Ashe welcomed a son into the world yesterday (27.03.16), an NBC representative has confirmed.
No other details about the new arrival have been released yet, but the talk show host will reportedly reveal more information when he returns to TV screens tomorrow (29.03.16) night.
Seth and Alexi first revealed the news to friends at the American Museum Of Natural History gala in November.
A source said at the time: "The couple were sharing the exciting news with friends and cast member at the event. Everyone was coming up and congratulating the couple and giving them hugs. Seth and Alexi were beaming about the news of their baby!"
Seth proposed to the human rights lawyer in July 2013 after five years of dating and they married just two months later.
Their star-studded wedding was attended by his former ‘Saturday Night Live’ co-star Jason Sudeikis and his fiancée Olivia Wilde; Kristen Wiig, Rose Byrne, Jake Gyllenhaal and his then-girlfriend Alyssa Miller, ‘Girls’ actress Allison Williams and ’30 Rock’s Jack McBrayer.
Former ‘Saturday Night Live’ head writer Seth currently hosts ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, after taking over the long-running talk show from Jimmy Fallon.
