Selma Blair has thanked people for their "forgiveness" following her mid-flight outburst.
Earlier this week the actress had to be removed from the aircraft after her flight from Mexico to Los Angeles following a bizarre outburst, which was caused by mixing her prescribed medication with alcohol, but on her 44th birthday on Thursday (23.06.16), she thanked those who have sent messages of support.
Sharing a picture of her and her four-year-old son Arthur, Selma wrote: "’And so what should I wish ?’ And he whispered it in my ear right then. I ask my angel for it to be true every day. And to do the same for others… A sincere thank you to all those who sent me the spirit of loving and forgiveness. It is a new birth year. Thank you (sic)."
Selma previously admitted she was "filled with shame" following the incident, in which she allegedly screamed, "He burns my private parts. He won’t let me eat or drink … He’s going to kill me" in front of other passengers in the First Class section of the plane.
The brunette beauty said in a statement: "I made a big mistake yesterday. After a lovely trip with my son and his dad, I mixed alcohol with medication and that caused me to black out and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret. My son was with his dad asleep with his headphones on, so there is that saving grace. I take this very seriously, and I apologise to all of the passengers and crew that I disturbed and am thankful to all of the people who helped me in the aftermath.
"I am a flawed human being who makes mistakes and am filled with shame over this incident. I am truly very sorry."
