Selena Gomez’s pickle obsession

Selena Gomez dines on pickles whilst on tour.
The ‘Good For You’ hitmaker is currently in the midst of her Revival world tour and is ensuring she stays fit with a "pretty simple" backstage diet.
She told Bon Appétit magazine: "I keep things pretty simple backstage. Plenty of water and pickles. On the tour bus, hot Cheetos and chocolate are staples. I love a good plate of fried chicken."
And the 23-year-old singer recently revealed she is "obsessed" with pickles as it is a regular staple in Texan diets.
She shared: "I am obsessed with them. That is my thing and I drink the juice from the jar too. They sell them at gas stations and movie theatres in Texas. I go to the movies and have popcorn and pickles. It’s not weird. It is a thing back home that I do."
Meanwhile, it was previously claimed that Selena is trying to live "a healthier lifestyle."
A source said: "She’s trying her hardest to live a healthier lifestyle. She’s surrounding herself with positive enforcers. There is no apology left in her. Selena feels sexier than ever. Criticism won’t diminish her personal growth."
However, the star has come under fire from many social media users, with one urging her to "work out" and "please stop eating junk food."
She told them: "IM IN the business and I could care less about what ‘they’ or you said I should look like. I don’t need to do anything other than love myself, take care of my work, fans, family and friends…And I do work out. It’s not your place to tell anyone what they should or should not do. (sic)"
And with comments like those, it is no surprise the ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ beauty wants to "give up" social media in a few years.
She said: "I’m utilising social media right now because of my age and because, to be honest, everybody else in the world was talking about me, so I wanted a f***ing say.
"I honestly had to, because I didn’t really expect my life to be as public as it was. Is this going to destroy me or make me? I still have to make that choice on a daily basis. In a few years. I’ll give all of it up."
