Selena Gomez is constantly trying to reinvent herself.
The ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ hitmaker is somebody who feels the need to "grow" and get stronger all the time and she will never stop doing that for the rest of her life.
She said: "I’m constantly somebody that likes to grow and feel like, ‘All right, what can I be better at, what could I do better at, where could my confidence be stronger?’ I’m 25, so I feel like I’m going to change a lot and enjoy that."
And the 25-year-old singer wants to be as close to "weight-free" in her life but knows that is "impossible" because of her international fame.
She added: "I worked really hard on my music this year and I’m really excited to put it all together. I like to choose to live my life in a way where I want to be weight-free, and I know that’s impossible to do because I have a million [eyes] on me right now. But I think it is important to kind of go through your life the way you want and I like to come at things with my best. That’s all I know how to do, just give my best."
Selena was honoured at the Billboard Women In Music event on Thursday (30.11.17) and she found being surrounded by so many fantastic women "empowering".
Speaking backstage to Entertainment Tonight at the Billboard Women in Music event, she shared: "I’m very honoured. I really am. I think right now, especially with everything going on in my industry, it’s empowering to see the voice women have right now. It’s crucial and it’s important. Sometimes I feel like a lot of that attention should go to more of that."
