Selena Gomez enjoying dating

Selena Gomez has been having "the best time" dating.
The 23-year-old singer previously had a five-year on/off relationship with Justin Bieber until 2014 but she has now moved on and is enjoying trying to find a new boyfriend, even if she does find it hard to trust people.
She said: "I’ve been dating. I’ve been having the best time. But I don’t trust anybody, so dating can only be fun if I know I’m going to have fun."
The ‘Come and Get It’ hitmaker admitted she has been left feeling "defeated and embarrassed" on many occasions after her professional life and achievements were repeatedly ignored while her personal life took centre stage.
She told the upcoming new issue of America’s Marie Claire magazine: "I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life. I would leave a room feeling defeated, feeling embarrassed, but I would always make sure to put that smile on my face because I wasn’t going to let them get to me."
Selena insists on being hands-on with her career, and doesn’t mind asking "dumb questions" if they will further her choices.
She said: "Authenticity is my life. [Managers and agents] make great choices, but I make the decisions.
"I had to not be afraid to ask dumb questions, which means I asked a million things about ever single step that I was making."
2016 sees Selena appear in a number of movies, including ‘Bad Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising’, ‘The Fundamentals of Caring’ and ‘In Dubious Battle’, while she was embark on her ‘Revival’ tour later this month, and the brunette beauty is excited to prove to people that she is more than just a "celebrity".
She said: "I finally just wanted to go for it. I wanted to do things that I knew were going to be me. I don’t want people to look at me as someone who is just this celebrity person."
