Scott Eastwood: Los Angeles is ‘weird’

Scott Eastwood thinks Los Angeles is "weird".
The ‘Suicide Squad’ star is glad to be residing in Rancho Santa Fe, California as he feels the pace of life is much slower there.
He said: "Luckily, I don’t reside here every day in LA. I think it would be a little tougher, just because there are weird things that happen in LA with paparazzi and things. A lot of these people, they go to these places, they know what they’re getting into: they know there’s going to be paparazzi there … They choose to go to these sort of venues. [But] you could go to a hole in the wall Mexican place and have margaritas with your friends and not be a weird thing.
"I just liked the lifestyle of being outside of the traffic and just being a little slower. I live down near Rancho Santa Fe – a mile from the beach, you can have horses on your property, I can be driving my pickup truck to go get coffee. It’s calm … It’s a very different style of life."
And the 30-year-old actor lives by a phrase he heard Matt Damon say, which deals with how perception can change things.
He told PEOPLE magazine: "I heard Matt Damon say this one time, and I thought it was so true, ‘Your perception of you doesn’t change; it’s the world’s perception of you.’ My perception of me is still the same person, and I still live the same life I live."
