Scarlett Moffatt is set to join ‘Celebrity Karaoke Club’.
The 29-year-old presenter took a step back from prime-time TV after she was dropped from ‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ last year, but Scarlett could soon make a return to ITV2 with the new singing competition.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "Producers are just starting to sign up celebs but are delighted with those they are making progress with.
"Scarlett in particular is lovely and really popular with viewers so they think she would be great."
‘Celebrity Karaoke Club’ will see seven stars battle it out on the mic through a series of rounds, judged by themselves.
They will have to perform in a group, as well as go head-to-head with the same ballad.
Also in the mix to sing their hearts out are ‘The Masked Singer’ host Joel Dommett, and radio DJs Roman Kemp and Melvin Odoom.
Meanwhile, Scarlett claimed earlier this year that ‘Gogglebox’ bosses made her look "thick as s***".
The TV star rose to fame because of the Channel 4 show, but she thinks the editing created an unfair impression of her.
Scarlett said: "It was actually very difficult. We used to have to watch ‘Downton Abbey’, but ten minutes of it.
"Can you imagine? I’ve never watched ‘Downton Abbey’ for a full episode and they show us ten minutes of a man bleeding from the mouth and then I’m like, ‘What’s going on? What’s happening? Who’s this?’
"It looks like I’m thick as s*** but really it’s because I genuinely don’t have a clue what’s going on. It’s like, ‘Seriously, who is this?’ Because we’ve never watched it before."
