Scarlett Moffatt has landed her first movie role.
The ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ presenter has managed to bag herself a cameo appearance in Caitlin Moran’s upcoming blockbuster ‘How To Build A Girl’.
Taking to her Twitter account, Caitlin wrote: "Can FINALLY talk about this – what we’ve been working on for the last two years
"SCREAMINGLY excited. Oh, the first scene is a DOOZY. And Beanie is just … astonishing. The world is going to EXPLODE with love for her. (sic)."
Scarlett then replied: "Omg omg OMG" followed by two heart-eyed emojis.
The 43-year-old author added: "I KNOW RIGHT. You still want that cameo? GONNA WRITE YOU IN (sic)."
The 27-year-old reality TV star replied: "Omg yes yes yes!! Can’t even contain my excitement xx (sic)."
The movie, which is being produced by Debra Hayward and Alison Owen, is an adaptation of Caitlin’s novel and will star Beanie Feldstein as Johanna Morrigan.
Alison said recently: "We could not be more excited for Johanna Morrigan to burst onto the big screen. We searched high and low for a girl who could match the boundless wit, sparkle and big heart of Caitlin’s super-heroine and feel incredibly lucky to have found her in the effervescent Beanie Feldstein."
Meanwhile, Scarlett’s career has taken off since she won ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2016 as not only does she present on ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ but she’s also been asked to cover the royal wedding on behalf of BBC Radio 1.
The former ‘Gogglebox’ star will be checking in to Radio 1’s daytime shows every hour with live updates from Windsor Castle as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot in front of the world at St George’s Chapel on May 19.
