Sarah Jayne Dunn has ‘stressful’ week with ill son

Sarah Jayne Dunn has experienced her most "emotionally draining and stressful" weeks of her life after her son was taken ill.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ star’s three-year-old son Stanley has been unwell this week, and she "can’t wait" for him to be back to 100 per cent.
She wrote on Instagram: "I’ve had the most emotionally draining & stressful week of my life.
I can’t wait for my little man to be back to full health first & foremost (sic)"
And the 38-year-old actress hinted she had taken some time off from ‘Hollyoaks’ – on which she portrays Mandy Morgan – to care for her little one, admitting when he is fighting fit again she will be glad to be back acting alongside Steph Waring (Cindy Cunningham).
She added: "Then I can’t wait to be back on set doing a job that I love & working with people that make me smile. Love ya @stephwaring
Fingers crossed it won’t be much longer before I’m back (sic)"
Sarah previously admitted she would love Stanley to appear in ‘Hollyoaks’ one day.
Speaking in 2017, said: "’Hollyoaks’ coming along again has been perfect in terms of where Stanley was, and where I am.
"It’s been like going back to work from maternity leave.
"Stanley has already been outside the Dog in the Pond [pub]. I might try and get him a cameo."
Sarah returned to the Channel 4 soap in 2017 after a six-year break, and she loved seeing some familiar faces in the village.
The star added: "It’s like coming home. It’s lovely and I’m having a really nice time. It didn’t take long to fit back in and there’s still people here that I’ve known since I was 14."
