Sam Thompson felt like he was mourning a death when he split from Tiffany Watson

Sam Thompson felt like he was mourning the death of a loved one when he split from Tiffany Watson.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star was left heartbroken last year when him and the blonde beauty decided to go their separate ways following three-and-a-half years of dating, and he has admitted the break up left him with little self-confidence and he felt really insecure within himself.
Speaking to The Sun Online, he said: "When I got dumped I was pretty raw.
"I’d never really had a relationship before and we were together for three and a half years…it felt like I’d lost a loved one. A death almost.
"My confidence was pretty low; when someone knows you that well they know all your positive and negative attributes and if they still don’t want to be with you, your insecurity levels can be pretty mega.
"Then I did ‘Celebs Go Dating’ and the guys over there built me up again and I feel better in myself."
And, although he thinks Tiffany, 23, is a "lovely" girl, they’re no longer in contact with each other.
He explained: "Tiff is a lovely girl and she’s got a lot of life to live and a lot she wants to do. I don’t think break ups are made any better when you’re still in contact.
"I’m trying to hang with my friends and move on."
The 25-year-old hunk is also planning to stay single for at least another two years so that he can focus on himself and enjoy time with his friends again because he felt like he was "married" for three years.
He said: "I don’t want to be in a relationship now until I’m 27. I had three and a half years of marriage and now it’s just time to let loose and see the other side of the spectrum."
