Sam Faiers was drunk on her first date with Paul Knightley

Sam Faiers was "quite drunk" on her first date with Paul Knightley.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star confessed she was a bit intoxicated and was "being a bit of a pest" on the couple’s first date as they reminisced over the past five years together for their television show, ‘The Mummy Diaries’.
She said: "Five years. We’ve been together five years, can you believe that? … Did you think when we met five years ago we would be here now with two babies?"
To which Paul replied: "You can’t ever imagine that on a first date, can you? Did you? No, listen, I knew I liked you a lot.’
Shocked, Sam replied to him: "Really? Even for the first week? You’ve never admitted that before, honey, it’s always me admitting it … I was quite drunk obviously and being a bit of a pest, but I think deep down you secretly liked it."
Paul told her: "You were just a little bit more keen, I played it a little bit more cool."
And Sam – who has Paul Jr., three, and Rosie, 22 months, with her partner Paul – is surprised by how quick their relationship moved along.
She explained on the pair’s reality television show: "I still can’t believe how much has happened in the last five years since Paul and I have met. You think in like five years maybe we would have just got engaged or something … but we’ve had two kids, moved to Hertfordshire and we’ve got the businesses."
The blonde beauty also admits she doesn’t have much time for date nights anymore.
She confessed: "We never have date night, do we? We never find time for ourselves just me and you. Don’t even try and think of something to come back at me with!"
