Sam Faiers is set to return to ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
The 29-year-old reality star – who rose to fame on the ITV show in 2010 – and her sister Billie Faiers are to look back at some of the reality TV programme’s most iconic moments for the show’s upcoming 10th anniversary special.
She told Closer magazine: "We’re not going back on to the show to film as such, but we’re doing the 10-year anniversary best bits so we’ll be looking back at old clips and all the ‘TOWIE’ best moments."
The ITV reality show kick-started the careers of stars like Amy Childs, Joey Essex, Jess Wright, Lydia Bright, and Danielle Armstrong before they left the show to pursue other paths.
But now, they are officially set to return for the upcoming reunion series ‘TOWIE Turns 10: All Back To Essex’ to discuss some secrets from behind the scenes and to share the truth behind the programme’s biggest scandals.
Paul Mortimer, Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions for ITV, confirmed: "After 10 years, ‘TOWIE’ is still going strong and remains the number one show on ITVBe.
"We’re thrilled to be welcoming back new and old faces for the upcoming mega-series as the show celebrates this special anniversary."
Sam – who has kids Paul, four, and Rosie, two, with partner Paul Knightley – appeared on the reality show with older sister Billie, but just last month she was adamant she wouldn’t be getting "involved" in a reunion show.
She said at the time: "I won’t be getting involved because, to be honest, it’s like I’m at a completely different stage in my life now. I don’t even know what I would do on there any more.
"I’ve got my own life with my kids, and ‘TOWIE’ is 10 years ago for me. You just can’t compare my life then to my life now."
