Saffron Barker is "so nervous" about her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ debut after falling flat on her face in rehearsals.
The YouTuber has revealed she was "the only" celebrity to fall whilst practising the first big group dance for the live launch of the BBC One Latin and ballroom contest on September 7, but she is "embracing every moment" of the experience.
She told Digital Spy: "I’m so nervous, I’ve had butterflies all day, I can’t stop going to the toilet, but I’m just embracing every moment.
"I can’t believe that I’m here. I feel like I’m in a bubble. It’s day one, but I already know I don’t want it to end."
On the red-faced moment, she added: "I was the only person to fall over in the group choreography number.
"Like flat on my face – it was so embarrassing, I was bright red. So I’m just hoping I don’t redo that."
Meanwhile, the 19-year-old social media star recently admitted her ‘Strictly’ partner will "hate her" because she will not want to stop training for the show.
Saffron feels like the "luckiest girl alive" to be one of this year’s celebrity contestants, and she is determined to work her "absolute socks off" during the "hard" training sessions.
She said: "I think my partner is going to hate me, because I will not want to leave that training studio.
"I want to work my absolute socks off, be the absolute best that I can be.
"I’m so excited for everybody to come on this journey with me.
"I’m so grateful, I feel like the luckiest girl alive. I can’t wait for everything.
"I’m excited to learn a new skill, I’m excited for all the glitz and glam.
"I know it’s going to be so much hard work. I’m ready to work hard and get in that training studio."
Saffron’s parents and grandparents were left in complete "shock" to hear she had landed a place on the show, and her dad couldn’t stop smiling for an hour.
He said: "I’m so happy and proud of you.
"I don’t know what to do, I can’t stop smiling."
Saffron’s mum added: "I feel like an emotional wreck just thinking about it. I’m so excited!"
Speaking in a vlog on her YouTube channel SaffronBarkerVloggs, the star added: "When you first tell someone it’s such a big shock to the system.
"My grandparents are always watching it and I think their immediate reactions were shock."
Saffron will be joined by Jamie Laing, Will Bayley, Michelle Visage, Viscountess Emma Weymouth, Karim Zeroual, Mike Bushell, Catherine Tyldesley, David James, Chris Ramsey and Emma Barton on show.
