Rylan Clark-Neal was chased by ‘Big Brother’ security as a teenager.
The 31-year-old TV presenter – who won ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2013 and went on to host spin-off show ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ – once interrupted Dermot O’Leary when he was filming ‘Big Brother’s Little Brother’ by screaming over the garden wall live on air.
Appearing on ‘Big Brother: Best Shows Ever’, he told the 47-year-old presenter: "I remember being about 14 years old and coming home from school one day and I went around the perimeter of the house like a proper detour on my way home, and we screamed over the garden wall and we ran.
"Security chased us, and you were live up on the tower filming ‘Big Brother’s Little Brother’ because I remember it was about six o’clock."
After his ‘CBB’ triumph, Channel 5 revamped the show and gave Rylan his own presenting spot on ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’.
But if someone told him at 14 years old he would go on to present a ‘Big Brother’ spin-off show he wouldn’t have believed them.
He added: "You turned round live on Channel 4 and went, ‘Oh, we’ve got some people down there that are just being chased by security. You’re on telly now!’
"Little did I know, all those years later, I’d be doing that job!"
Rylan previously revealed how he was in the lineup for ‘Big Brother’ in 2007, but he was pulled from the fly on the wall show after tabloids discovered he was a housemate.
He explained: "It all came out in the paper, it was the front page of the papers that I was going in.
"And back then the rules were very, very strict – if you got found out you didn’t go in. And I never let it go!"
