Ryan Thomas feels like his ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ experience lasted "a year".
The 43-year-old actor was crowned winner of the reality show during the series finale on Monday night (10.09.18) – after he was falsely accused of punching fellow housemate Roxanne Pallett during the series, only for her to admit afterwards she "got it wrong" – and he cannot believe the series was only on for three-and-a-half weeks.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, he said: "For me, normality is all I’ve ever wanted.
"Since being in that show it’s three and a half weeks, but it feels like a year of my life and for me, family is absolutely everything."
Ryan admits his love for his family, including his brothers Adam, 30, and Scott, 30, and his girlfriend, 27-year-old Lucy Mecklenburgh, was "heightened" when he was inside the abode.
He added: "In there everything is heightened beyond a different level and to have my loved ones around me, especially my brothers and Lucy, has been a real, real like privilege.
"I’ve got one more box to tick and that’s getting hold of my daughter as soon as possible."
Ryan has admitted he would be prepared to forgive Roxanne following her false allegation.
He said: "Can I be really, really honest I don’t know what’s been said about Roxanne I only know what I went through when I was in ‘Big Brother’.
"I really don’t wanna fuel something I feel Roxanne has gone through without me, you know coming out here, and I feel as if I don’t know enough about the outside world to start commenting."
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actor revealed that he doesn’t know what’s next for him, and is still adjusting to life outside the show.
He said: "It’s just a complete whirlwind. I’m not even on this planet right now.
"I’ve been living with a house of 30 people that ended up with like six people, and I’m starting to get myself back into reality slowly.
"And it’s daunting to be honest because what be experienced in the house will now become a reality."
