Ryan Malloy is reportedly returning to ‘EastEnders’.
The Walford bad boy – played by Neil McDermott – is currently in prison but is said to be coming back this September for an emotional reunion with sister Whitney Dean.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Ryan is never far from Whitney’s mind and she has always stayed in touch as much as possible.
"Although Ryan will only be appearing in a couple of episodes it’s fair to say that when he’s around drama usually follows."
Actor Neil is thought to have already started shooting top secret scenes at Elstree Studios, where the BBC One soap is filmed.
Ryan – who is the estranged father of Stacey Branning’s daughter Lily – is currently behind bars after he accidentally killed pimp Rob Grayson whilst trying to protect Whitney.
He went on the run but eventually handed himself into police in January.
And pregnant Whitney, played by Shona McGarty, will need Ryan more than ever after finding out fiancée Lee Carter cheated with pal Abi Branning.
She will discover she has contracted chlamydia while expecting Lee’s baby, which forces her lover to admit he cheated on her with Abi.
It was previously revealed that Abi [Lorna Fitzgerald] picked up the sexually transmitted infection from her then boyfriend Ben Mitchell before she had a one-night stand with Lee.
