Ryan Gosling feels as though he is living in a "field of flowers" since he brought his new "angel" baby daughter home.
The 35-year-old actor and his long-term partner Eva Mendes welcomed their second girl Amada, a younger sister to 20-month-old Esmeralda,
into the world on April 29 and although he is now outnumbered by girls three-to-one in his house he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Sharing his joy with his new baby on TV show ‘Good Morning America’, he said: "It’s heaven. It’s like walking through a field of flowers every day. I live with angels."
Gosling was appearing on the programme – filmed in New York City – to promote his new movie ‘The Nice Guys’, in which he stars opposite Russell Crowe.
He then joked he needed the arrival of Amada to cheer him up because working with Crowe, 52, on the buddy cop comedy film was so tough.
Gosling quipped: "It’s a ray of sunshine in a dark time, honestly, because with Russell really, it’s sad. It’s sad that we’ve turned out this way."
Gosling and Mendes had kept their pregnancy a secret until just two weeks before the tot was born.
Just as he has gushed about his newly expanded family, the Hollywood hunk has been just as full of praise for his stunning 42-year-old girlfriend.
Speaking about Mendes, he previously said: "I know that I’m with the person I’m supposed to be with. There’s nothing else I’m looking for."
